Our house has been hopping since we pulled into town (fyi, we got in on a Thursday afternoon)!
Grams joined us for the road trip from South Dakota to Nevada. She was here with us just long enough for our household goods to be delivered and Josh to come home (late Friday night). Sunday afternoon Grams headed back to Oregon, for no other reason then she had to. It was the last day of her spring break.
Then Monday morning Josh headed into work. The kids and I were off to pick up Uncle JJ! He happened to be in town working a race and decided to make it an extended trip. Who wouldn't love an extra week with their favorite brother?! Then that Thursday I made Uncle JJ go with me as I headed to the airport (during rush hour!) to pick up Abbey, who would be joining us for two weeks! Minus the traffic going to and from the airport 4 times in just over 2 weeks it was AWESOME having family in town! It's going to take a while for me to adjust to Vegas traffic, especially compared to Columbus, MS!
However, the one thing that didn't seem to happen while any of them were here where pictures! I didn't take a single photo while Grams was with us (thankfully she did, or should I say Zach did!) Uncle JJ escaped almost all photo opportunities (more coming later) until the morning he was leaving. And that morning Miss Molly was in a mood and wanted nothing to do with sitting nicely on his lap for a picture. Zach on the other hand was a total cheese ball! Then while Abbey was here, we did remember to snap a few photos on Easter, but that was pretty much it until the night before she left! I had her busy slaving away helping me paint and watch the kids while I sorted though boxes and closets. She brought Zachary a new OSU (Oregon State University) shirt so we got Molly's OSU gear out and snapped a few photos as quickly as we could (Molly was in another one of her moods--are you seeing a pattern here?!).
Although it was busy, messy and just plain chaotic at times, we LOVED having them all here and can't wait for them to come back!
Our guest room in currently open if anyone wants to come on down, just let me know, we'd love to have you! And I will post picture of this guest room soon, just waiting to put it back together after the carpet is in.
