Not gonna lie---
we have LOTS of moments like this!
But we usually have plenty of moments like this that make up for all those "other" times!
Over the last month or so we've really been noticing how much Zachary is growing up! Well its been more like Josh has been pointing it out to me since he was away for 3 months. Sometimes its hard to see when you are with the kids everyday.
The latest on our Z man!
-He LOVES being outside (even when its 100F)!
-Riding his balance bike is getting pretty easy and we are getting ready for a true big boy bike very soon!
-Someone (not sure if it was Daddy or Abbey) introduced him to Angry Birds, pretty sure he is now a pro at the game.
-When we left SoDak he was saying "Oh my cripes" to everything, its slowly going away. But I must say it is pretty cute when he uses it in context. "Oh my cripes, my water is all gone!"
-He has been having to call Fireman Sam almost daily to put out the fires in his room (at 2 in the morning)!
-Poor thing was so upset when we went to the YMCA here and he didn't get to see his swim instructors from SoDak. He kept asking if they could move to Las Vegas too.
-Told me the other day that he really likes his new house but he thinks he wants two new houses now.
-When asked how old he is; he usually says, "I am 2! So that means I get to have another birthday party, right?!"No Z sorry, but you have to wait until you turn 4 (in 10 more months) to have another party!
-He is so proud of himself for being a big boy and sleeping on the top bunk, he even taught Elmo and Mickey how to climb up and down the ladder to be safe too.
-His favorite part to the night is deciding who gets to say the prayer before bed.
-With Daddy's to-do list around the house, Zach has been trying his best to help. He broke part of our stairs and I find him trying to fix it several times a day. He just keeps trying but its not fixable :(
-He still asks about going to school with Brody (back in MS) so I am really hoping to find him some friends out here quick!
