With the prospect of Josh leaving in early December instead of later as
we had planned, we started our Christmas festivities early this year. We
headed over to the Lights at the Speedway on one of their opening
nights. I didn't take my camera with me so forgive some of the horrible
phone photos. But, you can still see their excitement through all the
blur :)

Then on Thanksgiving night, we ventured out to the The Magical Forrest at
Opportunity Village with the Boggess family. The kids had a great time
and I think the adults enjoyed the sledding almost as much too! I can
foresee this being a tradition while we are living out here.
Then we finished off the holiday week with a little football. This was one of the best Civil War games in years for two reasons. One- the game was very well played by my Beavers, and second- I got to watch it with some other Beaver fans, not just my kids :) Zachary and Keegan were glued to the tv watching the final few seconds of the game. It was a bummer watching OSU loose, especially by 1! But, the real downer of the football games came the next day when Alabama lost to Auburn. The game winning final play will go down in football history!
