Little guy

Dear Baby,

This update has been in the works for months, literally, I started this back around the end of October! In fact, it was the afternoon we had one of our ultrasounds. It was the only ultrasound that Daddy has been able to see, he really enjoyed seeing you for the first time. You were not very thrilled with the ultrasound tech poking around in your space. For most of the 45 minute scan you actually sat straight up (breech position), crossed you legs and just turned your head from side to side. Eventually, you gave in and moved a bit but, not much! Since then we had another ultrasound and this time Grams was here so she got to see ya! After checking you out and making sure everything is still on track the ultrasound tech said your head is measuring nearly 2 weeks ahead of your due date. Mommy was very grateful to know that that won't be a concern in the c-section. The rest of you is about a 9-12 days ahead of schedule, to bad the doctors won't let you arrive that much earlier. Although, I guess we can all hope you decided to grace us with your presence early, Mommy and Daddy would be thrilled!!!! We have been getting ready for your arrival and think we are a pretty much set for you anytime. Mommy, saw another doctor a few days ago and was able to schedule your arrival for Tuesday, March 12. That's only 9 weeks and 2 days away!

Your brother and sister are very excited to meet you! They tell everyone they see about their little brother! I don't think they truly understand how much life will change once you actually arrive. They will be such great helpers. Molly Jayne has even offered to help with diaper changes.

Little man, we are so very happy you will be joining our family soon! We can't wait to have you here in our arms! We get at least one more ultrasound with you in a few weeks. It's been wonderful  being able to get a close up view of you growing and changing! Last week you were right at 3 lbs, so you have another 3 to 4 lbs to gain. Mommy isn't sure how that's going to happen, you are already out of room in her belly!

We love you and are anxiously annticpiating your arrival!

Here is a photo from back in October, we now have an ultrasound picture of all our babies trying to touch their toes to their nose!
One of the fancy accessories Mommy got to sport for 24 hours was this heart rate monitor to make sure her heart rate wasn't getting too high. She got some pretty strange looks when she went to her Spin class wearing it! After review the doctors didn't see anything that was overly concerning. They did mention they noticed and elevated heart rate late that night and asked what happened...Daddy was working late and when he got home it scared Mommy!

Her current new accessory is a wrist brace for the pregnancy induced carpal tunnel---9 more weeks!
This was from back in mid November when I was trying to show Abbey the bridesmaid dress for her wedding. We were somewhere between 23 and 24 weeks here.
This week Mommy got to enjoy a Girls Night Out to celebrate your upcoming arrival! Miss Amanda organized it perfectly so Grams and Miss Sassy were in town to join us! She even went and got balloons for the occasion. You will soon discover this is a huge deal because she hate balloons especially, the latex ones! It was nice dinner out in peace (no kids) with plenty of girl talk! Now you just need to hurry up and get here so you can wear all your new clothes!
Mommy made sure to have Grams get at least one belly picture before she headed home. Mommy is not a fan of having her picture taken while she is pregnant but, since you are going to be our last little one, I suppose we should take a few more along the way. Here we are at just over 30 weeks.
