Back in November, (yes, I am that behind on some blogs) Papa and Grandma came to town. They were here for a week and they packed it full of all kinds of fun! Josh and Papa went to a Cirque de Soleil show, worked on the Jeep, used the fire pit, toured the Strip and Fremont St several times, took the kids to the park, enjoyed the air show at Nellis AFB, had family photos taken, and finished off our time together at the INFR
Aviation Nation 2012
We were able to get a sneak peak at the show on Friday before it opened to the public for the weekend. We enjoyed seeing all the aircraft and even getting to watch a few of the performances...what we didn't enjoy the CRAZY winds! Next year I will be packing stocking hats so our ears don't freeze. We missed the Thunderbirds finale but, we were able to see one land and taxi in.

Some dear friends of Papa and Grandma's were in town to watch the INFR. So the last night we were together we all headed out to watch the championship round of the INFR. Surprisingly, the kids made until almost 10pm before we decided to head home. We only missed the final three events. We would have seen more but, there was an accident during the saddle bronc and it delayed the rest of the performances. Not only was cowboy injured and taken out by EMTs but, the horse had to be taken out as well.
All in all it was a fun week and we look forward to them coming out to visit again!
