On Wednesday night, we had a knock on our door! Surprise! Surprise! We had been egged! The kids had a great time! We had just finished filling our eggs for Zachary's Easter Egg Hunt at school the next morning. The timing of this couldn't have been better. It was perfect practice for the kids!
The next morning, Zachary's school had their hunt at a local park. Thankfully, they allowed siblings to participate too!
After the hunt, the preschool kids played "Bunny, Bunny, Hop" (also known as Duck, Duck, Goose).
Then, the kids were free to play and head home.
It was a SUPER windy day and after a bit of playing we convinced the kids it was time to go get out of the wind!
On Saturday morning, we ventured out to a new park with the Harter Family, where a local VFW post was hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ for all military families. Again, the wind was FREEZING! Guess I really have lost my Alaskan acclimation! Brody stayed nice and toasty warm under my jacket wrapped in my Moby! He slept through the entire thing! We now have enough candy and eggs to supply what seems like a small army!
