A couple of new Easter traditions that we shared with the kids this year were coloring eggs and leaving a letter/treats for the Easter Bunny. And really, if Grams wasn't here the eggs would not have happened! The smell of hard boiled eggs just turns my stomach, (even when I am not pregnant). Thankfully, that is not the case for Grams! The kids really enjoyed watching the eggs, switching colors, and "helping" Brody color some eggs too!
You can see just how excited Brody was about this new experience! |
Molly, cracked an egg and wasn't so sure what to think about it. |
He had to try just one! |
Later that evening while Josh and I attended the squadron party, Grams and the kids made sugar cookies to leave out for the Easter Bunny. Zachary had made some "bunny bait" and had written (dictated:) a letter to the Easter Bunny at school last week. We added the cookies so Molly would feel included too! Luckily, the kids didn't mind that the only sprinkles we had were from Christmas!
We had one satisfied Easter Bunny this year!
