My kids LOVED spending so much time with Grandpa and Grams this summer! I could go on and on and on and on about all the great "little moments' that we had but instead I will let you simply enjoy some photos that show just how much fun they ALL had together this summer.
To put it plainly we were pretty spoiled this summer (as we have been in many of the recent summers) by getting to spend not days, not weeks, but 2 months with Grams (and Grandpa). We have been planning this extended trip for what seemed like forever and then it came and went in the blink of an eye! We dropped Grams off at the airport not quite a week ago and Zach still asks about her. Last night while we were walking in the neighborhood there were all kinds of airplanes (from base) flying over. Zach kept saying "Grams went on an airplane, bye bye airplane." Then this morning I needed to go run and drop something off so I told Zach "lets go real quick, ok," well I must have said something similar last week when we left to take Grams because Zach then respond with, "Ok, Zach's going on an airplane to see Grams." Then I sadly had to explain to him that no he was not going on an airplane, he quickly came back saying,"well lets go get Grams then!"
