Miss Sassy Pants

 Our baby girl turned 2 this week!

Every year we say the time goes by faster and faster...seriously, can't we just make it slow down a little bit! We decided when she was born that we would celebrate in a small and simple way each year in December for her birthday and the "big" party, with gifts would be held in June each year. We did have the Harter's over to help us sing "Happy Birthday" and to enjoy some cupcakes. Then, the next day the Lewis family was here when Molly woke up. She was a pretty happy little girl!

Molly Jayne thought we were going to say prayers, not sing Happy Birthday to her! It wasn't long before she realized the cupcake was all hers!

 

As a BUSY 2 yr. old, Molly Jayne has a few favorites to make note of:

• Cinderella is her favorite princess.
•  She eats the cutie oranges that are in season like they are candy.
• Purple is her favorite color.
• Singing the ABC's is almost always guaranteed to make her smile.
• She is 100% a Momma's girl.
• You will make her day if you offer to paint her fingernails.
• If you have food, she'll be asking for a bite (or 2, or 3, or all of it).
• When it's her turn to pick the movie, it's one of three--Madagascar 3, Shrek 2, or Baby Signing Time.
• She loves to argue debate just for the "fun" of it.
• We call her our "sassy little thing" or "Miss Sassy Pants" because she never hesitates to share her opinion.
• One of her most used phrases, "Noooo!!!! I do it!"

Our little Miss is full of spunk. There is no "normal" for her because it always just depends on her mood. She can hold her own with her big brother and is hopefully ready for potty training very soon! We can't imagine our family without her! We love you baby girl!
