We finally hit the strip!
Our home teacher and his wife led us on a small tour of downtown Las Vegas. Our first stop was the Bellagio gardens and fountains. We caught three of their water shows and all were beautiful! After the first two shows, we walked over to Caesars Palace looking for some cheesecake! After walking through what felt like an entire indoor city, we found a little sports pub that had the cheesecake and appetizers we were looking for! Our walk back to the car was a little more interesting than earlier in the evening. The "night crowd" was starting to take over! We caught one last performance at the fountains before heading home. I am sure we'll be going back again soon, it's a great place for people watching (free entrainment) and all kinds of new restaurants to try!
