Hoover Dam

On Tuesday morning we headed down to check out the Hoover Dam. It's about a hour south of us because we live as north as you can get in Vegas! We knew it was going to be hot, but I don't think you are ever really prepared for just how quickly it get warm. We got there around 11am and it was super busy for a Tuesday morning! I really couldn't believe just how many people were there and how crowded the parking garage was! We had decided before hand that we were just going to check out the visitors center because only two of the eight kids in our group were old enough to do the full tour. We snapped a few pictures outside after the visitors center and called it good. Maybe Josh will join us next time, after this his thesis is complete!

Between the heat and the excitement, our little man was one tired kid!
