We arrived at the hotel late Friday night, got all settled into our room, put the kids down and crashed! The next morning we headed over to watch the marching of The Peabody Ducks. It was very cute (and super quick) but Zach thought it was pretty cool! It was really hard to get some decent pictures with the poor lighting in the hotel, so I apologize for the quality but we had to make note of our time there, after all its a tradition that's been happening since the 193os!
After meeting up with the rest of the group we all headed toward Beale Street, where they are known for great food and amazing music too!
This was our first real outing using our double stroller and to all of our delight it was soon realized that our double could hold a few extras! This made for some much happier kiddos (Molly is tucked behind Bella)!
It was Matt's birthday so he got to pick out our lunch destination...BB King's
Zach says, "I want that one, daddy!"
Molly enjoyed a nap during the lunchtime live performance
Carson even crashed at the table during the concert!
After lunch we headed back to the hotel to give the kids a little break and to decide what was going to be next on our Memphis adventure. After some asking around we headed off to Overton Park to let the kids run off some energy!
Zach had a great time and especially loved the slide! Everything in Zach world is great when he has his "sun glass" on! And yes he almost always wears them upside down...come to think of it so do all the other kids that like put them on.
Once the kids were done we headed out the see the Temple
After a quick stop there we headed over to Target, Babies 'R' Us, and Lenny's! Shopping and a great deli sandwich = one happy lady at the end of the day!
It was quite a busy day!
