Hours after saying goodbye to my folks we returned to the airport and welcome Papa Rick & Grandma Kerrie!!!! The kids and I met them in the terminal just after Josh landed down the street. Then he came over and met up with us all before taking us on a close up look at the T-6 he had just flown in! Since the timing of all this was not planned we didn't have a camera with us, but it was a great way for Papa and Grandma to start their trip!!!!! Molly just about 3 weeks old when they arrived and since my recovery was going really well and most of Molly's weight issues had been resolved we were able to really get out and show them what Columbus, Mississippi has to offer. And after our little tour that lasted a grand total of about 1 hour tops, we had to be a little more creative to fill the rest of their visit. As you will see we found plenty of things to do and we will never forget getting snowed in down in the dirty south!!!!!
We had a little project for Papa when he got here! And he thought he was on holiday!!!!

Thankfully we had some wood...not that the fireplace actually heats the house. But, we did enjoy a fire almost nightly! Just have to add the the furnace was still going even with the fire going, it really was pretty cold outside!

All this excitement and fun made for some nice long naps for the little guy, it was great!!!

Dana, our rental here in Colorado had the ugliest wall paper ever imaginable... luckily, the owners said it was fine to take down. Major upgrade if you ask me. If it ever comes back into style I will paint to make it look like wallpaper--- but I think wall paper is of the devil :)
