After a very early morning flight out of Dayton we arrived in Oregon, just after lunch time (well more like dinner time for us). Zachary was thrilled to be able to just MOVE. He has done great on all of his flights, this time I was pretty nervous because the week before we flew out he had a double ear infection (poor little man). Once we stopped for a bite to eat we made it to our first visit with my grandparents.

He had a blast playing with Great Grandpa!

But eventually the long day caught up and he crashed

The next morning we joined the Webster trio and the Hagenauer crowd to celebrate Shelby's sweet 16! Great company and wonderful food! He thought it was great that Abbey helped him eat :)

Zachary's favorite cousin of the trip...Kody! These two were like two peas in a pod, they had such a great time together! Remember Kody you can come visit us ANYTIME!

After brunch Zachary got his first hair
trim, I say trim because there really wasn't much to cut off but it was to the point that Josh was threatening to take scissors to it himself! Zach definitely was trying to bring back the mullet. He was a little unsure at first...then it was ok, he is such a wiggle worm!

It wasn't long ago that Zachary discovered our cupboards at home and it sure didn't take him long to find them at Gram's house! He was proud of himself!

On Tuesday we headed to church with Gram's class because Ken was getting a distinguished graduate award as part of the school's celebration of Catholic Schools Week. After mass we went over to Gram's class of a little visit. The kids LOVED seeing how much Zach had changed since we where there in October. Zachary on the other hand preferred to be above the reach of most of them....or distracted with their cool "big kid" toys.

Zachary is not what I would consider a shy child. If you smile at him, he'll smile right back and probably try and them sit on your lap next! He just loves it when people play with him, Grandpa was no exception. These two hit it off immediately! Zachary knew that if Grandpa was around it was play time!!!!!!

Zachary also has a soft spot for Grams, they read all kinds of stories, ate dinner together almost every night, and she gave great baths! He knew that she would always "protect" him when Grandpa was "gonna get him" (thats now one of Zach's new favorite games)!

And ever once in a while he gave Grams a kiss just to let her know just how special she is!

It was great to have Zach and Dana home for twwo weeks. Wish Josh could have been here also, but maybe next time. Zach was great to play with, however I used a whole bottle of alieve while he was here,
crawling on the floorto make him laugh. What adults will do to make a kid laugh! Loved having him here to watch him grow into a great kid.
