The Wright-Patt Tattoo.....It's an annual concert, mini airshow and fireworks. Zachary had a great time until the fighter jets flew over. They were a little too loud for his taste.
The arrival of Grams!!!! She will be joining us for 42 days. Yes, that's right, 42 days!!! WooHoo!!!! Zachary has LOVED all the extra hugs!
The Columbus Temple-What a great night! Josh went to the temple for the first time & we were blessed to have our friends, (who are like family), there to share the special experience with us!
Zoo Day! Its was free for all military and their families, so we took the opportunity to head back to Columbus for the day! I am pretty sure at least half of our housing development was there! We had a great time and the kids did really well. It was amazing weather too, not too hot, not too chilly. The animals were so active...well worth the drive.

Rachel, Porter, John, Gabe, Dana, Zachary, Josh and Grams (Johnny & Sol had already headed home)The 4th of July fireworks (sort of). Early in the week, we decided to have a BBQ as we have had great weather for what seems like the entire summer. Well, the weather did not quite want to corporate. It was our ONE cool rainy day. Ohio has VERY strict laws when it comes to fireworks....nothing but sparklers and smoking snakes this year.
Sol checking out the extent of our fireworks. Caesar Creek Triathlon was Josh's third tri for the year. He finished 12 min. faster than his previous time, so he was pretty pleased with his performance. Overall he finished 6th out of 10 in his age group. Great job honey! We love watching you compete and look forward to the next race!

Bearden So all this and more has filled our last week or so...add in some trips to the pool, a neighborhood garage sale, lots of flying for Josh, and Dana attempting to complete her training for the half marathon (only 10 and a half weeks to go). Our next big adventure will be this weekend when we venture to Kirtland, Ohio.

Shelby and Zach are so much alike! STILL teething, STILL have red hair, sleeping through the night, standing, rolling, LOVES rice cereal (we only gave it to Shelby once and she's mad that we haven't since... she had a rough night after she ate it... so I'm holding out on her!), and they're both just as cute as can be!
