Out with a bang!

The last of our holiday guests arrived the Saturday after Christmas. I am guessing Michael had no idea what his week would entail when he suggested to Abbey that they come spend their vacation here with us. In the end I know there was a lot of fun had by all! Even if we don't have tons of green grass to go play in and they endured record lows (it was FREEZING this week) in Las Vegas! The kids even got Abbey and Michael to play some board games!

To kickoff our NYE celebration we pulled out some of the new games the kids got for Christmas. They LOVE board games! I spent forever trying to figure out how we could watch the ball drop in New York City and have our NYE toast at 9pm. I finally gave up trying to get the TV to pick it up so we all huddled around the computer with our sparkling cider for the count down. Then, it was back for one more round the Headbanz (the kids new favorite game) to finish off the night!

 Then, we put the kids to bed and things got REALLY insane around here!
