Oh the things kids say!

MJ: Daddy, when I turn 8 I am going to be "bat-tized." Are you going to be "bat-tiszed" when you turn 8?
Z: No, he is way past 8! He can't be baptized when he turns 8, he already turned 8.
MJ: Oh, daddy are you already 8?
Z: Yeah, is he 50 MJ! That's way past 8 isn't it Daddy?
Daddy: Hey now, I am not quite that old yet! I am only 30, Papa is 50!
Z: Oh well, you are still way past 8, right?!

Z: Some days I just know I have to fight! And some days I fight with monkey!

Z's prayers for Daddy: Please bless Daddy that he will travel home safely when he is done fighting the bad guys in Qatar. And bless him that the Air Force will send him home safely when they are ready so he can fight the bad guys here in Las Vegas.

MJ's prayer for Daddy: Bless Daddy that he will get 5 bad guys and come home, but that they won't come with him.

MJ: When I grow up I want to go to Heaven!
Me: Oh, yeah we'll where is that?
MJ: It's way out there across the desert! But if I go too far into Heaven I will go to Daddy's work!

We went to McDondalds for a breakfast treat....
Z: Mom I said I want pancakes not hotcakes!
Me: Well Z they are the same thing, they have two names.
Z: I am not going to like them cause I want pancakes not hotcakes!!!
A few minutes later while driving in the car....
Me: would you like one of your pancakes, or do you want to wait and have syrup on it at home?
Z: I'll take it now, please.
Me: Oh, I guess we are going to have to wait a few minutes, they are too hot.
Z: See Mom I told you should have ordered pancakes and not hotcakes!

Z while eating his lunch..."My hot hog is playing catch with the veggie straws in my mouth!"

Z: Do you know what makes me special?
Daddy: Well, Heavenly Father made is all special.
Z: Well, I am special because Heavenly Father made me love to play video games!
Daddy: You're right Z, you are special not everyone likes video games as much as you do...like me!
Z: That's too bad Daddy, maybe you could pray to Heavenly Father to make you love playing video games as much as I do!
