Words that melt my heart

Each morning my day starts offs with Zachary calling to me from his crib, "Momma, Momma!" As I open the door he greets me with a cheerful, "Hi Momma,' or the occasional "Hhhee-ooo (meaning Hello)!" I always ask him if he is ready to get out and is first response is always "NO", we are still working on that part.

Next we venture out to the living room and turn on some cartoons. Within the first 20 minutes or so of Zach being awake he will then come up to me and say, "milk, milk, please, please!!" He continues to say please until he has his milk in hand!

Throughout the he says "thank you" to everything!!!! When I read him a story, when I hand him ball or when I build a block tower for him to crash.

At some point in the evening Josh will come home, usually just for some food before he heads off to study. Some nights Josh studies back in our office but most of the time he heads back to base to meet up with other classmates for a study group. Josh normally sneaks back to the office or out the door because he knows it just crushes Zach when he leaves so soon. However, it doesn't take long for Zachary to start looking for Dadda. When Zach doesn't find him he comes to me and asks for Dadda. Then I tell Zach that Dadda had to go bye-bye, he runs to the door, starts grabbing at the handle, saying, "Dadda bye-bye, NO, NO, NO!!!!" (yep, thats a HUGE hit to the heart daily)!
