Over Memorial Day weekend we made a neighborhood event at the berry patch. One of the things we LOVE about living in the lower 48 is all the fresh produce, that seems to be at our finger tips! Saturday morning we headed just north of Dayton to Troy (home of the Strawberry festival) to Fulton Farms. They had several fields to pick in, we arrived with the Heaton's and went to work! John, Rachel, Gabe and myself picked two buckets and that was plenty for us! It was too hot to take much more. Zachary and Porter enjoyed being our taste testers! They didn't care where the berry came from as long as they didn't run out! As were where getting ready to head back we saw the Booth family, the Walquist crew and the Domm's at another field. We stopped off to say hello and Josh decided that he wanted some more berries so he headed out and picked two more buckets while Rachel and I stayed in the AC with the little ones! We had Connor, Benjamin, and Olivia join us (it was way too hot for the babies)!
